Obituary of David Allen

David's passing on Good Friday, March 29, 2024, at the age of 80, leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him. His battle with Parkinson's Disease was a testament to his strength and resilience.

In Regina, David was known for his multifaceted contributions to both professional and amateur theater. Whether as a stage manager, set designer, or occasional actor, he left an indelible mark on the community.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no service in Regina. Instead, a Funeral Service will be held at Cassburn United Church, 1780 Cassburn Rd, L'Orignal, on Wednesday, May 22 at 2:00 pm, followed by inurnment at Cassburn Cemetery.

Gratitude is extended to Dr. Lok and his team at Wascana Rehabilitation Centre for their compassionate care over the last five years.

In lieu of flowers, donations in David's memory may be made to a charity of choice or to the Regina Humane Society 4900 Parliament Avenue, Regina, SK S4W 0T7.

David's legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, and his contributions to the arts community will be remembered fondly.
